Cancellation Policy


The Jam Jar Music cancellation policy ensures that empty lesson slots are available to all. Both Pay-As-You-Go and lessons within a Series can be rearranged providing the appropriate notice is given. If you are aware that you will be unavailable for your lesson booking, please contact Lauren on 07570217484 or at info@jamjar-music.com to rearrange your booking. Lauren must be informed of all cancellations at least 24 hours prior to the lesson start time. Failure to give 24 hours’ notice will result in the lesson still being charged for in the case of Pay-As-You-Go lessons or not being refunded or rescheduled in the case of missing a lesson within a Series. Notice must be given via phone call, email or text.

 Cancelling a lesson within a series:
Where lessons have been bought as a 6 lesson package and paid for in advance the missed lesson can be rescheduled providing a minimum of 24 hours notice is given. The cancelled lesson will (i) be rearranged for another day during the same week or (ii) be postponed until the following week. Option (ii) will usually result in all the dates for the remainder of that Series of lessons being pushed back by one week and the new dates will be confirmed in writing. If 24 hours notice is not given, the lesson is lost and cannot be rescheduled.

 Cancelling a Pay-As-You-Go lesson:
Lessons can be cancelled providing a minimum of 24 hours notice is given. If 24 hours notice is not given, the lesson will still be charged for and payment for the missing lesson must be made by BACS or in person during the next lesson.
